VUMS Cluster at ISO Meeting

On Sunday, 11th September 2011, the VUMS cluster has been presented to the working group 7 of ISO/IEC JTC1 SC36 committee at their meeting at Shanghai, China. The ISO/IEC JTC1 SC 36 committee works on Information technology for learning, education and training, while the WG 7 considers issues on individualized adaptability. The committee found the VUMS approach interesting and felt it can contribute to existing standards. In particular, they think the user description variables developed in VUMS as independent of a disease/disability can be useful for the second part of ISO/IEC 24751 standard and they are looking forward to work with the VUMS cluster.
